Who hasn't been amazed by a walk in the Florentine Chianti region? This vast area offers spectacular views and unforgettable days, which is why we at Crocus trip have decided to take you on a tour of this area!
But our walk is a little different, because we are not going to the most well-known places (otherwise it is too easy). No, we have chosen a less-traveled and somewhat wild path, which takes us from the small village of Strada in Chianti, through coppice forests of stone pine, cypress avenues and some white roads to Santa Cristina in Pancole; here we will have a delightful stop at one of the area's most renowned wineries.
After this stop for relaxation, company and companionship, we will return to Strada in Chianti. In the second part of the route, we will pass through beautiful olive groves, in an almost fairy-tale setting, from which we will begin to glimpse the Romanesque church of San Cristoforo a Strada.
At the end, catch your breath for the last uphill stretch that ends next to the church and takes us directly back to the Piazza of Strada in Chianti where we can rest on the benches for a final chat.
Your guide will most likely stop at the café in the square to get a refreshing drink and rest their legs, feel free to join! NB: The early evening version, is slightly shorter than the regular itinerary. We suggest to bring a flashlight with you.
