One of the most emblematic structures of the Florentine Middle Ages.

Over the centuries has been the scene of political events, clashes, bloody executions and violent riots.

Today, a National Museum and treasure chest of sculpture by Donatello, Michelangelo, Verrocchio and Giambologna.

Not everyone knows that the Bargello was built 50 years before the more famous Palazzo Vecchio, stands in all its austerity in the city center forcing the passerby to pay homage to its tower at least with a glance.

It is reminiscent of the medieval castles that can be found in dozens in the Tuscan countryside; its courtyard, so evocative, preserves the memory of all Florentine history. In its rooms we will be able to retrace the evolution of sculpture from 300' to the late Renaissance, but only the most attentive visitor will be able to find the oldest portrait of Dante Alighieri, executed by the great master Giotto di Bondone.

At the end of this intoxicating bath of art, it will be with great pleasure that we will guide our visitors to inebriate themselves with an excellent Tuscan red wine in one of the typical “vinaino” of the city center, to make the experience of Florentine life truly complete.

about 3 hours

What we will see:
